Good morning my gorgeousness......hopes you all have a have a great day..my morning has been funny so far as i was getting ready for my shift there were strange noises coming from my hubs who was still sleeping but as it was a strange incoherent sortta speech i went to see if he was ok..he babbled HELP!! on about a bird...and it was in a hole by the suitcases..i thought hed been dreaming...but nope...and heard for myself a noise from said hole...oh dear im not good with birds...so we just had to get it out...bit by bit he removed stored items..expecting it to shoot out. anticipating screams from hubs lol!!!.but it didnt..and eventually we saw its tail..he stood back..there it is..i looked and he said get it get it..now go on get it out prompting ME forwards...so sassy took another look and shaking in my slippers I put my hand in the hole((i woudnt be any good on the jungle programme im a celebraty get me out of here)) would i SO deep breath heart racing ..i gently found it and got him out ...it was a baby sparrow.aw bless checked him over he seemed fine..and popped him out the bedroom window he took flight strongly and phew!!!!!((The one that got away)) can only presume the cat had brought it in..as found evidence later of a few feathers in front room.....but so glad it seemed unharmed...the cat came back in a started looking in places she doesn't bother with so verdict she DID
The offender in question......
bring it in.amongst other things frogs..and mice over time..we had a mouse running round the house for three weeks till we caught it with peanut butter in a humane trap so that lived to tell the tale .i have scolled her..but i know its what they do and that her pet treats are now excluded for today ...but how can i deny her ....those big sad eyes....after all shes only doing what nature intended to be a predator..if it wasn't for us domesticating them that would sadly have been her dinner..but still the instinct is in them..anyways have rambled on..now my hearts not thumping bonkers anymore my card is a Kenny k image in shades of yep pinks...layered on old glittered striped papers from years ago i glazed nearly all of her and quite like it...hope you might like it too..sassy hugs...and if you need a bird removing ..please dont call me...lol!!!!!! sassy hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

BROL!!!! Sassy, the birdie-helper, hahaha, I'll call you STTR (Sassy to the Rescue!) from now on!!!
When I came home yesterday from an awful windy drive in my boyfriends silly cabriolet, I found a half-eaten bird on my bedroom floor, yuk! And mice... well... I find them regularly in my flat and Freddy, who it the one that brings them home normally, looooooves to gift us with them. Haha, yeah and I know how it is when they are still alive and live somewhere behind my cupboards LOL!!
anyhoo, STTR, your card is hilarious, love it!!
Strokes for Marvina (oh, Bailey shouts from behind, she wants to go out with her and hunt birds...)
Hugs, HRH
Hello Sassy, well done for rescuing the baby sparrow, poor thing must have wondered what was going on! One of my cats is a terror for bringing in little 'gifts'! Your cat looks gorgeous though and as you say they are just doing what comes naturally.
Anyway, fabulous card, love the image and colours and of course the wonderful Sassy embellishments
