Olympic Challenge

Hi every one...so sorry my post is rather late but first day back at work and things...well lets say arnt too good...but on to the fabulous new challenge at CRAFT CATZ the theme set by our lovely  Bridget

THE OLYMPICS
........we had beautiful entries last week from Trishe's *SPOTS THEME* so lets see how all your creative minds interpretate this fab challenge please visit my teamies and view there glorious work
we are sponsored by

offering three  lots of die cuts to the winning entry

heres my DT card and as you know i love vintage and oldie worldy so got the old grey matter thinking...i had no images suitable so i went back in time to the start of the Ancient  Olympic traditions..the rules then so different too now days ..did you know that men were only allowed to participate and  in  the nude...mmm how nice.and for winning they were given the lorel leaf headress and a olive branch.. as a sign of their talent and for peace and that not only were men good at running...wrestling... fighting but poets and authors would tell there stories or read their poems in other parts of Mount Olympia....and it was the only time during the contest that all nations in the surrounding areas would be guaranteed safe passage..heres my card photos of Greece and lighting of the flame i made the torch from a jellwery head and added strips of golden ribbon to represent the flame and a loreal headress out of lace coloured with promarker..well hope you like my twist on the Olymics ...cant wait to lookat at your interpretation ...hugs sassyxxxxx

Been out of touch with blogland recently but will get back in to the swing of things soon. Really do like your card, it is very stylish.
