Ivory Lace commission

Morning !! and what a morning very strong wind..wet and very unsettled and thats just me lol!!! only kidding come on then who's upset the weather then??? crickey what a day i just hope where you all are the weathers a bit better than here.....

on to my card again a little ott but its a commission and she wanted lace for a wedding annniversary  so hope i have given it to her an easel design with some new stuff i bought yesterday from hobbicraft its like lacey webbing..used a image i bought and used glossy accents on the champagne flutes of course finished off with ivory ribbon and silk flowers..looking at it in the light of day im not so sure...but then i never am...might do another option..i have posted *CANDY* but i cant fathom out how to keep it at the top so *HELP* if you can would be appreciated ot its  going to get lost along the way.....thanks to all those who take the time to leave me comments they really make me smile..mwah to you wonderful peeps...from a wet and windy sassy lol!!!!! hugs xxxxxxxxxxx

Gone dotty

Afternoon hunnies....been  a busy week but have managed to stay on top of it...my card is pants..i really am not sure what mode of thinking i was in when i couloured this hahah ... im at the moment  trying to find a nice layout inside this jumbled mess of a head  for a commission i have been asked to make for a anniversary oh dear mojo gone awol again...but im off later to hobbiecraft just for a look!!! yeah who am i kidding but in need of retail therapy amongst other help!!! plus bits for my  candy!!! not the eating variety but Birthday Candy!! i will be posting my goodies up for grabs later so watch this space....this card is all wrong but hey ho..i treated myself to some stamps from  Kanban..really loved the design i saw them on some eleses blog and they looked superb.. really great cards but cant remember whos?? but as im not a stamper im not so sure it was a good investment but had a go anyway i stamped them up(not bad for me) and coloured with polycromos added free papers from a craft mag  flowers fromWild Orchids a couple of pink feathers and of course a bow.or two ..and this is deffo one for the charity box or i mught take it too bits and re-vamp ?

The Box Lid

Morning everyone i hope the suns out wherever you all are its a dry and sunny morning...so far so hope it stays settled unlke yesterday with everything from thunder and hail to periods o f sunshine yet soooo cold...well as you may remmber i made a box for my daughters birthday and wanted to make  a journal for the box  so she can  write about her next holday...well finally finished it to match the box decorated to co ordinate with butterflies and a rub off that drove me crackers as it wouldnt rub off half way through grrrr!!! but just kept at it..eventually it did but left a mark or two as it decided tolift the paper..but htink it looks ok...i used papers from grace Taylor but used the  plainer patterned added butterflies in glossy accents and cut out when dried added a assortment of ribbons on the spine and a few pearls and flowers also made a tag  hanging on ribbon glued into the front to act as a book marker...i hope you might like it and hope she does too...many thanks for all the wondeful comments i sure need my spirits lifting at the mo have so many troublesome probs with work im ready to give up..surrender or give in..or just leave after 12 years of harressment and vile people enoughs enough!!! said this for years and keep plodding through all the spite..& misery people think they can cause...well sassy is either gonna go at full guns blasting or keeping whatever piece of dignity i have left and go quietly...lol!!!dont think so!!!so a big sassy hug thanks for keeping me sane love the frienship you have all shown and  for the uplifting support...xxxxxxxxxxx

April in Paris

hiya everyone...what a stupid day..everything has gone wrong today even the weather wants to drown me lol!!!aw well retreated into my crafty space to get on with this little card made it for the challenge athttp://theshabbytearoom.blogspot.co.uk/ and any others i see around the block she is still a tiny card compared to my normal size but crammed it full of Aprilness if there is such a word hehee....

matted and layered onto freebie papers and the front paper i did on my computor the cup ..teapot and biccies i added from images i have had for years and never used them till today i edged the card in assorted lace  the flowers from Wild orchids half a doiley i found in my bit box and a couple of emmbellies which  i reduced the sizing one a label says   five o'clock tea and the tiny one is actually a song sheet for April in Paris hence the title..added a tag in between the layers covered again in co ordinating paper and another song sheet a little bigger so hope you like my romantic card..and thanks in advance for everyone who calls especially those who kindly leave the wonderful commnts that kep me ticking over sassy hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx one size fits all

Vintage Sepia

Hiya my sweets...afer a busy day of H********K and I******G!!! decided enough was enough..and as i loved this ladys picci i wanted to do another this time in sepia tones with lace ribbons flowers from wild orchids a home made hat pin tulle and a tag inserted through the layers..the papers were freebies from a crafty mag which i  try not to buy all the time but must say the free papers now are so improved they used to all shiny and never really liked them but these are rather scrummy from crafts Beautifl artist include sizzix..Alison Butler..Sallt Moret alot are celbrating the Queenas golden Jubilee...

so played a while with the new mini card stock and to fit the box perfectly i made another card to mount it on lovin that stripey paper used my new marianne Design tag which is so pretty added a Tim Holtz embellie in cardboard  cut on my Vagabond have no idea what its supposed to be but it looked nice on the side added a few champagne pearls off ebay champagne ribbon on card and tag edged in brown inks  oh and not forgetting a flourish

hope you like her i just think she is such a beautifull  lady i hope i have done the picture justice

Vintage Blue

Good morning hunnies..and what a glorious sunny day so far why do i always get up early on my days off? but i did get to finish this card so then  ican attack the house .and the dreaded ironing..would glady pay someone to do it for me out of the jobs i hate  is the ironing...

anyways my card is a mini not very ott for me i fond this adorable lady and covered her with glossy accents added the frame a die cut heart flowers from wild orchids on lovely stripey paper from Grace taylor..adore her papers added a tag to the top of the card with a sentiment a cute little pearl heart slider and pretty ribbon and lace with hearts on i bought of ebay i hope you like her thanks for all the wonderful comments it does raise me up..so loads of sassy hugs and big thanks again for your time in viewing and leaving those most welcome comments xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Vintage Pinks and Swirls

Hello everybody hope the weathers kind too you as it is here today the suns out and its a gorgeous day i found a old paper stack whilst having a de junk and this paper is linen feel but plain but great colours its a christmas block DCVW if thats means anything ..sadly  ive slept since i bought it ages ago had it too long to remember but its quite a heavy cardstock . i had another freebie from another blog which i will give credit to when i find it and i played a little with the colours and  i felt she  matched perfectly with this card stock so off i set

...a couple of hrs later this is the result another Vintage in pink....topped her off with flourishes  and swirls i broke into bits added lace and a paper from Grace Taylor edged it with my martha stuart punch in the doliey..added a butterfly i found lurking..i used my new mariannes die for the tag and added a picci from my computor this key is so cute..Vintage bias for the bow and some pink tuelle ..flowers from Wild orchads and  Pins one of mine and the tiny one from Ribbon girl.also added a swirl to the back of the image i had of ebay so here she is isnt she a pretty lady...i also edged all the white in my tiny colour ink pad to offset the white as it looked too stark..

In the Pink

Well looks like its all change .. on Blogger how you all coping with the new lay outs..i dont really like changes but i will just have to get along with it or else retire from crafting and blogging ..the new layout isnt as inviting but thats my opinion anyway before i go totally crackers i will leave you with a unfinished card i dug out of course vintage...in pink a lady called me to havea look at my cards this one  i started this one a while ago and only did the front it has now been  sold plus another two cards (happy me) so i  needed to tydy it up and finish the inside so now its ready and boxed ready for delivery  have a super **Friday*..another week gone where is the time going....thanks for all my lovely comments and support it does keep my mojo going and keeps me a happy sassy also extending a masive welcome to all my new followers its a pleasure  to have you around.....huggles xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Shabby Chic in Greens

Evening felow crafters hope your all enjoying your evening although its nearlly my bed time i though id pop this shabby chic on before i tuck myself in for a restful night ..and shes green lol!!! have a thing about green at the moment so went with it...papers are stripey  from my computor stock..ribbon from ebay the image is a new one i picked up as a freebie and im sorry i have forgotton where but thank you if you reconise it as one of your freebies its lovley although  i changed the colour on my pc....

flowers edged in promarkers with a hint of green organza  ribbon  made into a flower shape from stash left over from christmas...used card stock from a lovely pad from K&Co i used my tim holtz die birdcage and gave it some little beads and tiny porcelian flowers the odd butterflies and a altered pin i made and not a bow in sight lol!!!!oops just tiny ones in twine hehe...the lttle tag pops in the top and have  to find a sentiment..flowers of course wild orchards...thanks from the bottom of my heart for all the lovely comment i have recieved it really makes me so happy and thanks in advance for poping in and taking the time to leave those precious comments..sassy hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Aqua and Pink Shabby chic

A bit dotty

Just Because

Hiya....well this stupid infection has took its toil..in and out of bed no energy..no appetite..just full of nothiness...even my mojos got the grumps.lol!!!cor these tablets of consultant geees there so powerful and make me a swooony..and a little tipsy...but have felt a little better this afternoon and decided to finish what i started ,.its a pretty Mo's image that i wanted to colour two days its took me ..kept picking it up and did a bit more...then after i was sorrta pleased i did some shadow.OOOOHH!!!! how i wish i hadnt..it was a greyish back ground..but it looked naff so i went over with the lightest pink in my promarkers i could find and this is the result well not as bad as the grey..

had a bee in my bonnett about green..me green..no way!! but i bought some lovely papers from staples a couple of weeks ago dunno why i picked green but thats another story and yet when i got it home the greens are rather nice..anyway im rambling..so coloured her in with flex and promarkers i wanted to get a crumpled  sikly effect but dunno if i did ...it just looks coloured to me anyway told you i was rambling so i will just shut up ..before you all loose the will to live..not made her for any occassion i just liked her and here she is new flowers from wild Orchards tulle bow and vintage bias binding pearls and my new cutting  corner thingy from Memory box love it so delicate..sassy hugs to you all  thanks for taking timeout of your precious day to visit and to all those who leave a much appreciated message a big MWAH!!!! xxxxx

Altered Box

A very good afternoon peeps how nice of you to pop in....hospital review went well and my hematoma is so small now its barely visible on ultra sound..so happy its going..my chest has felt really rotton and i have a nasty infection but two lots of tablets should get me up and runny around in no time..i hope appointment was 11-00 and got home at 1.45 all bloods done  ...x ray done ...tummy felt..done...peak flow...done well nearlly couldnt get that dam bar to much but i gave it a quick burst... so done..tablets dispensed..done..car park fee ...done so back home and  feel really DONE IN!!!! now lol!!!!!.....my altered art is a box (not that fantastic as felt rotton)i have made it for my daughter becky she says *i never make her anything** er!!!!! so as shes embarking on another trip ..this coming  May i have made a box for her journal..well not made the journal yet..but box is finished..shes done the brazil..rio... amazon thing last year for three weeks in more hostels than you could name...and now she of to bornio,,well i could be wrong i started with a B but it certainly wasnt basra....and she wanted a journal for this trip when she gets home..

.so like a good mommy i have made her the box to keep it in ..so far.. My Becky  loves butterflies so themed in blues ..i covered it in Vinatge 12x12 papers from Grace Taylor and then lined the inside i decoupaged some of the butterflies and glossed  them.. added flowers and sparkly bits  she has had her early birthday gifts a couple of new tops for her trip...one with butterflies on looks rather tribal but she loved it..anyway im popping back to bed for a hour these pills have made me all gooooooooey..and floooooooooopy.....cor their strong..and was told to rest or id be back in hospital and id rather not..after spending 11 weeks in their last March..so gonna do what my lovely Mr Jones has told me too...other than my infection hes pleased about my hematoma...and im pleased hes my consultant i owe him my life....litterally....so its a sleepy sassy bidding you tata for now...sassy hugs thanks for visitng it means the world...more than you know xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello sweets...hope your all enjoying your day whatever or whereever you are...April showers today and yesterday but when the suns out its a super day...cough!! cough!! sorry hunnies dont get to close thnk ive a chest infection Again.!!!...had a temp all morning so had some tablets...should have been going to a funeral today but sadly i felt real too  rough....and didnt want to embaress myself coughing ..sneezing...or F????....or wetting myself through a special persons  fondest farewell.. I'm so sad not to have been able to attend but wanted to spare the wonderful family any inconvienent moments..they can do without me interrupting in what ever manner  my body whishes to do ooops!!!....so ive been told  to be quite and calm i then  decided to finish of a couple of tiny cards i made bits for earlier last week..been told to rest so im resting.....hope you like the shoe i did this when i did the commission card in red and played with other colour variationas ..and yer know me i love me pink..i hadnt much glossy accents left so a bubble or two ..pretend you cant see them lol!!!..i bought this lace of my friend on ebay isnt it lush....the cards are 4x4 so tiny compared to my 6.5 cards made boxes so will try and decorate them also...hope you like my efforts..bearing in mind im a poorlesy sassy today....awh....lol!!! come on girls i need sympathy...hugs specially hubbie just wont come near me lol!!!! nor the cat shes not speaking cause my coughing frigtenens her silly cat.....speak soon my luvverlies thanks for popping in sassys sneezy hugs ..ooops sorry to you all ......aaashoooooooooooo!!!!!

Shabby chic torso re-vamp

Morning peeps hows your long weekend going....mines been full and fun...still managed to find time to redo a find i had thrown into the rubbish bag....it was a torso with a bikini i had her ages but she got broke...er dropped her so was going to chuck it away...but then sassy gets a notion..!!!!!..and this is what she turned into..i hope you like her...i covered her in pva glue and tissue painted with acrylic and then added bits from stash...have a lovely day off to meet my grandaughter before she goes back to Bradford tommorow...not long enough dont know where we will end up....whatever she wants to do...seeing its a treat visit see you laters sassy hugs xxxxxxxx

Hello peeps...having a nice relazing mornning before i tackle the ironing,,*sigh*....so though id colour up this cutie from D'Arcys and play with stripey papers for a change and im entering her into a challenge as it requires stripes..pink..pearls cor all the fav things..cept for stripes..but these are from dog diggity and i do love the colours..coloured her in copics and cut out on a nestie mounted onto a bigger nestie flowers a pin i made and pearls also made a box and made a matching tag.. pearls added around image and at tops of card and taghope you might like her and thanks for calling if you want to leave a message id love that just so i know whos called and will  get around as many blogs as i can..ironing permitting lol!!! sassy hugs

Happy Easter

Happy Easter to everyone...well what a lovely change to have a little lie in....and even more lovely had long relazing shower and had a play with my new machine which i love the vagabond is so cool...and then whilst i was playing and getting all glam in between cuttting ....hubby did the bed and the hoovering..he turned into a domestic godess lol!!!nearlly had a heart attack..then he did the dishwasher and even managed to pick up his shirts..pants and socks and turned the machine on...OMG!!!he is either having a affair or gone soft hahaha....cant believe what hes done today..as its so not like him...so now  were off out for a meal how spoilt have i been today..and not having to go to work wow is the icing on the cake..finished another egg and made a stand cut from a loo roll...stuck it like a plinth decorated in vintage for a gift to a special lady who has been so supportive to me loves my work and i just wanted to thank her for being a great person and giving me loads of work in commissions..feel rather humble at her constant ooooing and arrrrring over my cards etc..she really boosts my ego and my mojo..

Blue Shabby birdcage

Evening peeps hope you all had a good week and YEAHY!!!! im on a spring 10day break from work...so i can play play and play....or not having a visit from my 13 yrarold grandaughter jessica so gonna have some quality time with her....shell wear me out but hey i just want to have her here for a while...well onto my creation i found this tutorial on you tube just flicking through for some inspiration and i loved it and how this clever lady popped it together....so as with my pink birdcage this is of course blue but have added charms to it and its cut in cardboard with my new toy *the vagabond* which i havent stopped playing with..i love it..so when the cardbboard went through i was so surprised at how clean cut it was....sassy is smiling like the cheshire cat..right now and yep im thrilled....so blue flowers.....  white cage painted then  distressed with crackle glaze added a bottom base template .... had to improvise as the cage she did the bird was hanging of a chain but my dove is a BIGGUN!! and too big to fly or hang..so i have glued him to the base  i made with him peeping out i also used wood beads underneath   and made it stand alone as its also meant to be hung..im not very good with jewllery its fiddly and having carpal tunnel in my left hand is painful sooooooo this is my spin on this shabby chic cage....i sold the pink one and this ones sold too...so not bad..feel quite chuffed at the mo with my selling... ok im never gonna be a millionairess but hey im rich in other ways ... i have my health holding steady..my wonderful children& grandchildren  my sweetie of a hubbie my sisters ..my cat and all you out there ..so what i havent got in money i am rich enough to keep me happy...but if anyone wants to donate a few grand ..address to follow hahahaha.................sassy hugs around the world to all of you wonderfeul peeps keeping sassys a happy bunnie ,,well it is Easter lol!!!! mwah...OH!!!! before i sign off below is a picture of the mask i did a re vamp in my older post  when i first originally made  it with me wearing it too  just to show the difference in the colours and style  etc  ...so have this freeebie titter..giggle or grin on me hehehhexxxxx lvs yer
